[SIZE=6]My neighborhood is a fascinating place, it is in one of the biggest cities in the world, New York City, however, there is a small-town feeling to it. Most of the buildings in the neighborhood are small brick apartment houses, they have peeling red and brown paint. Many of the people her have lived in the neighborhood for years, they know each other and take pride in the neighborhood.They have planted trees and flowers in from of the buildings, they have built benches where the old people sit andtalk. Since many of the people are from Germany and Eastern Europe, there are wonderful German, Hungarian, and Polish shops here. I wouldn't want to live in any other neighborhood of the city.
