An action verb tells what the subject of the sentence is doing
الأفعال تخبرنا عما يقوم بهالفاعل

examples: run, talk, skip, sleep, jump, hop, snore, go

أمثلة : تشغيل،نقاش،تجاوز،نوم،أنتقال،قفز،شخير،ذهب

James walked to the store
Walked is the action verb because it tells what James was doing
يمشى، هو عملالفاعل لانه يخبرنا ماذا كان يفعل

go, walk, get, tell, buy, like,pay, carry, put, relax, eat

The Garcia family goes grocery shopping every Saturday

First, the family walks into the supermarket

Francisco gets a shopping cart

Mrs. Garcia tells Maria, “Buy two tomatoes.”

They buy vegetables, fruit, meat, eggs, and cheese

The Garcia family likes healthy food

Mrs. Garcia pays for the groceries

Maria and Francisco carry the groceries into the apartment

Mr. and Mrs. Garcia put away the groceries

Finally the Garcia family relaxes

Then they eat lunch

لو تلاحظوا أن اغلبالافعال انتهت بحرفsوالبعض بقى علىحاله والبعض الاخر انتهى بحرفيes، ماالسبب ؟!

السببأن أغلب الأفعال نضيف لها حرفsإذا لم تنتهى بحرف من الحروفالتالية:-
( o- s- x- ch- sh ) فإذا انتهت بحرف منها في هذه الحالة نضيفesللفعل .
