hegemony means the lower class will follow the upper class thinking that this is the right thing to do ,i.e. believing that the upper class are right
the lower class follow the upper class voluntarily without any kind of force (unconsciously) . Also, hegemony is based on common sense which means believing in things without a prove or question
post-colonialism is based on hegemony and knowledge power
