The World War I (1914-1918):
Germany is the country that started the war whether it is World War I or World War II. Serbia asked for the alliance of Russia and Hungary and Austria asked for the alliance of Germany. We have the British, France and Russia alliance against Germany. Australia, Canada, India, New Zealand and South Africa are colonies of Britain. So, when Britain entered the war, all these colonies joined it. The World War I started in 1914. So, the green is the allied powers and then you have the central power is in the one in yellow. In 1917, the United Stated was not into the war. It avoided the war and the conflict. And the British feared that if the United Stated joined the war, it would be on the side of the central power which is Germany because of its colonial principles; they were against colonization of the British and their relationship with the British. Then Germany asked for the alliance of Mexico and so the United States would enter the war and would be allied with Britain, France and Russia.
Why did the World War I ended? There was an agreement/ a treaty. When the United States entered the war, there was not progressing for Germany and it realized that it would be hard war, so they decided to sign a treaty and so the war ended. The war ended in 1918.
