Here summarize the first lecture
With vocabulary and meaning in Arabic hope to help you in understanding the content

First lecture Dr. talking about before writing a paragraph
There are several points you should be aware of her:

1-Choosing a topic

حدد وش تبي تكتب عنه

2-Brainstorming

سوي عصف ذهني واكتب الجمل اللي تجي لذهنك بشرط انها تكون حول الموضوع اللي بتكتب عنه

3-Organizing ideas in order of importance

نظم افكارك بحيث تبدأ بالفكره الأهم وبعدها الأقل أهميه

4-Writing the topic sentence

الجمله الرئيسيه لموضوعك ويجب ان تكون جمله كامله تبدأ بحرف كابيتل وتنتهي بنقطه.

ممكن تكون الجمله الاولى او الثانيه او حتى بنهاية الفقره

ميزة advantage : a good thing :

الحضور Attendance : going to :

الحرم الجامعي : all the buildings inside the university: campus

الاشياء السلبية : disadvantage: a bad thing

المرفق : facility :Services given by the university

المعلمين في الجامعه: Faculty : teachers

الموقع : location : The place where the building is

تفضيل : preference : things that we like best

مكانه او هيبه : prestige:a good reputation

منحة دراسية : scholarship : money given to students to complete their education

منظمات طلابيه : student body:Student Organization Activism

رسوم دراسية : tuition : the cost of college classes

Verbs

حضر : attend

أفضل : prefer

Adjectives

مزايا : advantages

تحدي : challenging

متعدد : diverse

ضخم : huge

غير ودود : impersonal

مرموقه : prestigious

Dr. Spoke about how to choose the title of paragraph
Of wrong titles those where generalization
And should include the main idea on what exists paragraph

Important note:

Dr. said that one of the most important questions the exam is to choose the main idea of the subject
