q Another way of dealing with the supposed difficulty of poetic translation is to move away from the original, producing instead imitations or new versions.

هناك طريقة أخرى للتعامل مع صعوبة الترجمة الشعرية من المفترض الابتعاد عن الأصل، وتنتج بدلاً من ذلك نسخة أو إصدارات جديدة.

But Hamburger (1989:51) sees such deviation from the original as an “admission of defeat” .

ولكن يرى همبرغر (1989:51) مثل هذا الانحراف عن الأصل "اعترافاً بالهزيمة"

Look at the following example to see how the Arabic translator has moved away from the original:

انظروا إلى المثال التالي لمعرفة كيف انتقلت مترجم عربي بعيداً عن النص الأصلي:

When he smells the scent of the rose, he wants to see it,

When he sees the face of the rose, he wants to pluck it

إن شمَ ريحَ الوردِ في أغصانها مُناه في ألوانها وبَهاهَا

وبدوْتِ في ثَوب الجمالِ فكنْتِ بين الأصابع، رباه ما أحلاها!

A.عندما يشم رائحة الوردة يريد أن يراها عندما يرى وجه الوردة يريد أن يقطفها

B.إن شمها استحلى رؤيتها وإن رأها استحلى قطافها

C.عبيرها استهواه، فطلب رؤياها ولما رأها، أرادها

D.إن شم ريح الورد في أغصانها مُناه في ألوانها وبَهاها

وبدوْتِ في ثَوب الجمالِ فكنْتِ بين الأصابع، رباه ما أحلاها!

1. The Skopos of Poetic Translation
سكوبوس للترجمة الشعرية
q One way of expressing the fact that translated poetry aims, in general, to be itself poetry, is to say that the aim or skopos (Nord 1997:27) of its translation is to carry over the source text function into the target text; it is thus an instrumental translation.

اول طريقة تعبر عن حقيقة أهداف ترجمة الشعر، وبصفة عامة، أن يكون نفسه في الشعر، هو أن نقول أن الهدف أو سكوبوس (Nord 1997:27) لترجمتها القيام بأكثر من وظيفة النص المصدر في النص المستهدف؛ وهكذا تكون الترجمة دور أساسي.

It must also aspire to be documentary, to give ‘some idea of what the original is actually like, and especially to allow its reader to see those very difficult which make it poetry.

يجب أن تطمح إلى أن تكون موضوعية، لإعطاء "فكرة عن ما تريد في النص الأصلي بالضبط ، وخاصة للسماح القارئ يرى الصعوبة الشديده التي صنعها الشعر.

The common tendency to publish translated poetry bilingually points to this documentary aspect. Especially for the bilingual reader, the relationship of the translated poems with the source text is highlight by a similar layout in both languages.

الاتجاه الشائع لنشر الشعر المترجم لغتين لهذا الجانب الموضوعي . خاصة بالنسبة للقارئ ثنائي اللغة، والعلاقة بين القصائد المترجمة مع النص المصدر تكون عالية بتصميم مشابهه لكلا اللغتين .
