1. What is drama?
Drama is the specific mode of fiction represented in performance.
The term comes from a Greek word meaning "action", which is derived from "to do" or "to act" (classical Greek: draō).
The enactment of drama in theatre, performed by actors on a stage before an audience, presupposes collaborative modes of production and a collective form of reception.
الدراما هي وضع معين لخيال مثل في اداء تمثيلي .
المصطلح يأتي من معنى كلمة يونانية "عمل action"، التي هي مستمدة من "للقيام به to do"، أو "للعمل to act" اليونانية الكلاسيكية draō
تمثيل الدراما في المسرح ، يقوم بها االممثلين على المسرح أمام جمهور، يفترض مسبقاً وجود أساليب تعاونية للإنتاج وشكل جماعي للاستقبال.

The two masks associated with drama represent the traditional generic division between comedy and tragedy.
They are symbols of the ancient Greek Muses, Thalia and Melpomene. Thalia was the Muse of comedy (the laughing face), while Melpomene was the Muse of tragedy (the weeping face).

The use of "drama" in the narrow sense to designate a specific type of play dates from the 19th century.
Drama in this sense refers to a play that is neither a comedy nor a tragedy—it is this narrow sense that the film and television industry and film studies adopted to describe "drama" as a genre within their respective media.
استخدام "مسرحية" بالمعنى الضيق تعيين نوع معين للمسرح يعود إلى القرن التاسع عشر.
الدراما في هذا المعني يشير إلى مسرحية ليس كوميدية أو مأساوية – هذا هو بالمعنى الضيق أن صناعة السينما والتلفزيون و دراسات السينما اعتمدت لوصف "الدراما" كنوع داخل كل منها وسائل الإعلام.
Drama is often combined with music and dance: the drama in opera is generally sung throughout; musicals generally include both spoken dialogue and songs;
غالباً ما يتم الجمع بين الدراما مع الموسيقى والرقص: الدراما في أوبرا عموما تغنى في في كل مكان؛ و الموسيقى عموما تشمل الحوار المنطوقة والأغاني.
q There are many forms of Drama. Here is a non-exhaustive list with a simple explanation of each:
يوجد العديد من أشكال الدراما. هنا قائمة غير حصرية مع شرح بسيط لكل منها:
Improvisation / Let's Pretend: A scene is set, either by the teacher or the children, and then with little or no time to prepare a script the students perform before the class.
الارتجال Improvisation: يتم تعيين مشهد، أما عن طريق المعلم أو الأطفال، وثم تحضير القليل من الوقت لانجاز الطلاب النص المسرحي قبل الكلاس .
Role Plays:Students are given a particular role in a scripted play. After rehearsal the play is performed for the class, school or parents.
لعب الادوار Role Plays: يتم إعطاء الطلاب دوراً خاصا في النص المسرحي . بعد بروفة انجزها للصف او المدرسة أو الآباء والأمهات.
Mime:Children use only facial expressions and body language to pass on a message script to the rest of the class.
المقلد Mime: يستخدم الأطفال تعابير الوجه ولغة الجسد فقط لتمرير رسالة على نص مسرحي إلى بقية الصف او الكلاس .
Masked Drama:The main props are masks. Children then feel less inhibited to perform and overact while participating in this form of drama. Children are given specific parts to play with a formal script. Using only their voices they must create the full picture for the rest of the class. Interpreting content and expressing it using only the voice.
القناع الدرامي Masked Drama: الدعائم الرئيسية هي أقنعة. ثم أن الأطفال يشعرون باعاقة اقل لانجاز وتعدي الدور المطلوب عندما تشارك في هذا النوع من الدراما. ويعطي الأطفال أجزاء معينة للمسرحية مع نص مسرحي اساسي .استخدام فقط أصوتهم يجب إنشاء الصورة الكاملة لبقية الكلاس .

Puppet Plays:Children use puppets to say and do things that they may feel too inhibited to say or do themselves.
مسرحيات العرائس او الدمى Puppet Plays: استخدام الأطفال دمى لتقول وتفعل الأشياء التي قد تشعر ايضا أعاقت لقول أو للفعل نفسة.
