Plato Vs. Aristotle
Unlike Plato, Aristotle has always easier to incorporate in Western literary and philosophical systems. His analysis of Tragedy in the Poetics are still today the foundation of artistic, dramatic and literary practice.

Western scholars who dislike Plato’s discussion of poetry or disagree with it are usually full of praise for Aristotle.
