3.Simple Past Tense: زمن الماضي البسيط
Simple Past Tense is an action or event that happened in the past ; before now.
الفعل الماضي البسيط هو عمل أو حدث ما حدث في الماضي، وقبل الآن
.1. The verb is in the second form ) play- played/ go-went )
الفعل في التصريف الثاني يلعب - لعب / يذهب - ذهب
2. The indicators) ago, yesterday, in the past, last , any date in the past)
(المؤشرات على زمن الماضي )مضت - امس- في الماضي - قبل - اي معلومه بالماضي
3. No helping verbs
لا يوجد له افعال مساعده
4. We use didn’t in forming Negative
نستخدم للنفي didnُt
5. We use did in forming questions
نستخدم للسؤال did
We have 2 kinds of verbs:
في صيغة الماضي لديه نوعين من الافعال
A- Regular verbs: end with –ed in past tense
في زمن الماضي edمنتظمه تنتهي ب
B- Irregular verbs: they end with different forms in past tense
