Definitions
literature: writing in prose and poetry of recognized excellence valued for their personal imaginative expression of life writing is not literature unless it give the reader pleasure which arise not only form the things said but
from the way in which they are said

Criticism:
Pragmatic Criticism : judge the literary work in term of the truth of representation of the reality of the world

Mimetic Criticism: judge on literary work as something designed to produce emotion or moral responses in the reader

Objective Criticism: it focuses on the qualities of the literary work. treating it as an object of art that can be studied and evaluated

it is designed for theatrical presentation so, it is a from of literature as well as a representational art. it is also enterainment . it create a world moody on our own. but it's truth doesn't depend on reproducing the world exactly as it is time is the short and space is limited faced with the limitation in the stage

Dialogue: the give and take of dialogue is a highly specialized form of conversation. we adjust, our style to meet the need of the people with whom we are talking and we reinforce our words with a wide range of facial expression and bodily gestures
dialogue is formulated not only that it can be heard by characters talking to one another on stage but also it can be over heard and understood by the audience in the theater. it help to know the public several

Character: characters in the play are not the same as people in real life. Real people live in the world as it is Biological affect the behaviour of real people
Although, Aramatic characters are not real people they are endowed with human Capacites, they talk, act and interest with one another we should note weather they are major or minor characters

Antagonist: a character who stands in direct opposition to protagonist, or in conflict with central character. in some cases the antagonist may be is a group of people, or some force in nature, or some aspect of the central personality

Climax: a major turning point in the play usually because the hero know some new information or knowledge on determination

Falling Action: the falling action follows the climax and usually present the ways in which the hero is slowly over powered. it doesn't last long as the rising action

Narrator: the teller of the story can be the first person or it can be third person narrator. a first person narrator is an "I" who may be the major character or minor character. a third person narrator who does give a voice who may be can subjective comment or an objective who doesn't comment; idea and opinion
