Ways to describe language
Language consists of :
1- Phonology: the study of the sound system of a language.
علم الأصوات : دراسة النظام الصوتي للغة .
2- Morphology: the study of the structure of words.
علم الصرف : دراسة بناء الكلمات .
3- Syntax: the sentence structure of the language. Grammar is the set of rules governing the use of the language so that people can communicate meaningfully and consistently with each other
.
بناء الجملة :بناء الجملة في اللغة , النحو مجموعة من القواعد التي تُنظم استخدام اللغة الذي يُمكن الناس التواصل بمعاني كاملة باستمرار مع بعضهم البعض .
4- Semantics: the study of the meanings communicated through language.
علم المعاني : دراسة معاني التواصل خلال اللغة .
