منهج القراءة
- Only the grammar useful for reading comprehension is taught.
- القواعد فقط نافعة في القراءة والفهم في التعليم .
- Vocabulary is controlled at first (based on frequency and usefulness) and then expanded.
- المفردات تتحكم في البداية (قائمة على التردد والفائدة ) وثم تتوسع .
- Translation is a respectable classroom procedure.
- الترجمة هي انتاجية معترفة في الفصل.
- Reading comprehension is the only language skill emphasized.
- القراءة والفهم فقط تركز على المهارة اللغوية
- The teacher does not need to have good oral proficiency in the target language.
- المُعلم لايحتاج إلى ان يكون جيد شفهياً في اللغة المستهدفة.

- استخدام التقليد والتلقين بإعتبار أن اللغة تُكتسب وتتشكل كعادة .
- Grammatical structures are sequenced and rules are taught inductively.
- القواعد النحوية تبنى متسلسلة والقواعد تُدرس بالحث .

- listening, speaking– reading, writing postponed.
- الاستماع , التحدث , القرآءة , الكتابة مؤجلة
- Pronunciation is stressed from the beginning.
- يتم التشديد على النطق في البداية
- Vocabulary is severely limited in initial stages.
- الكلمات محدودة في المراحل الأولية
- A great effort is made to present learner errors.
- جهود عظيمة قدمتها أخطاء المُتعلم .
- Language is often manipulated without regard to meaning or context.
- اللغة هي تلاعب بدون اعتبار للمعنى أو السياق .
- The teacher must be proficient only in the structures, vocabulary that he/she is teaching since learning activities are carefully controlled.
يجب أن يكون المُعلم محترف فقط في البناء , الكلمات الذي/التي يدرسها منذُ نشاطاته التعليمية والتحكم بحذر
