I’m sheriff John Bunnel, we are living in a scary world, a place that everyday becomes more and more frightening. And with the presence of video cameras, there’s virtually nothing that isn’t caught on tape. Tonight we’ve collected some of the most amazing images you’ll ever see. You may be astonished, you might find them horrifying, but without a doubt they’re some of the most shocking moments ever broadcast on television

Portland, Oregon. February 1996 a week of rain combined with unseasonably warm weather melting the mountain snow at hillside resident on edge over the frit of mud slides. Contractor Robert Hollman and his son Starsun are driving to a job site to inspect potential damage what was about to happen will turn the next two minutes into a heart-bounding experience. The mud slide about everything in its path cars, buildings, and concrete all crumpling under its power. At first it was so slow we didn’t think we were in any kind of danger but as soon as I see it actually hit against the truck and started spinning the truck sideways, it started picking up a little bit of speed. Just feel it from the sound of it how close it was to me. It knocked the car out of the road like they’re just.. like they’re just toys. It took one Cadillac and it kind of picked it up right into the side of this garage wiping it out .
For the Hollmans it was the end of an exhilarating and frightening ride, one that they will never forget.
