طبعا هذا القسم هو اللي كثير نشوفه في اروقة المستشفى ويكون
اكثر تعامل مع المرضى (العيادات الخارجية)
تقريبا هم 15 نوع وهم:
Cardiac Nurse(ممرض\ة القلب )
Usually refers to cardiology
type patients who are not having cardiac surgery.
2Cardiothoracic Nurse(ممرض\ة القسطرة القلبية)
Heart and lung surgery patients in recovery.
General Medicine Nurse
All the sicknesses that can’t
be classified into another specific floor such as cardiac.
.Hemodialysis Nurse(ممرض\ة الغسيل الكلوي)
The patients during their
dialysis sessions. Can be in a
hospital or private setting.
.Labor and Delivery Nurse(القباله)
.Med/Surg Nurse(ممرض\ة باطني جراحي)
General surgery patients. Usually
abdomens and complicated wounds.
.Neurology Nurse(ممرض\ة الاعصاب)
Recovering strokes and brain injuriese
.Nursery Nurse(ممرضة الحضانه)
Crossing the t’s and dotting the i’s for the healthy newborns.
.Obstetrics/Women(ممرضه امراض النساء والولاده)
.Orthopedic Nurse.(ممرض\ة العظام)
.Oncology Nurse(ممرض\ة الاعصاب)
Everything related to cancer patients
.Operating Room Nurse(ممرض\ة العمليات الجراحية)
The person in the OR making sure all
the pieces come together. Ensuring all the supplies
are available, the patient is protected and the other
staff are all ready to go.
Pediatric Nurse(ممرض\ة اطفال)

Seen in bigger hospitals mostly. For
all non-surgical lung issues.

For critical heart patients who have not had cardiac surgery on the current hospital stay.
Cardiothoracic(ممرض\ة العناية المركزة ما بعد الجراحة ونقل للقلب والرئة)
ICU—Fresh post-op heart and lung patients including transplants.
Emergency Room(ممرض\ة طوارئ)
Flight Nursing(ممرضة\ة متنقل)
Transport of sick patients
to larger hospitals and traumas. Usually no doctor is
on board so the nurse is IT. Many times flight
nurses work with the ground
units too (ambulances for tansport)طبعا هذا النوع من

General ICU(ممرض\ة العناية المركزة العامة)
Sick but not surgical, at least not yet.
Neonatal ICU(ممرض\ة العناية المركزة حديثي الولادة )
Nurses for the sickest babies and premies.
Neuro ICU(ممرض\ة العناية المركزة للاعصاب)
Head traumas and major stroke patients
PACU or Post Anethesia Unit(ممرض\ة الإفاقة او العناية المشددة لما بعد العمليات الجراحة)
post-op recovery for same-day surgery
patients or general surgery patients
that will not need an ICU following surgery.
Pediatric ICU(ممرض\ة العناية المركزة للاطفال)
Nurses for the sickest kids.
Surgical ICU(ممرض\ة العناية المركزة الجراحية)
Think general here. Trauma surgeries
not involving the head, and
general cases with complications.

Help gather and analyze data
for clinical trials. You will also
help enroll patients in these trials.
Forensic Nursing Career(ممرض\ة الطب الشرعي الجنائي)
Not for the faint of heart, but vital and meaningful career.
Informatics Nurse(ممرض\ة المعلوماتية)
Use your nursing knowledge
to help develop computer programs
and charting systems for hospitals.
This area of nursing

Lactation Consultant(ممرضة الرضاعه الاستشارية )
If you have never done it,

Telephone/Triage Nurse(ممرض\ة لفرز المرضى )
Answer phones and triage patients
for health insurance companies and
doctor's offices. Many of these
nurses work from home telling patients
how to manage symptoms and when
