This seems to be a good topic. You can of course continue writing about it.

However, you need to discuss your research proposal in a context of a classroom. In other words, you cannot just summarize some ideas from books or articles and present them as a reserch proposal. You need to consider this influence in an actual classroom setting wher you can give real examples and meet students/teachers, etc.

I expect that you present your first draft by Week 8. After writing your thesis statement, start your proposal by writing an abstract followed by an introduction, literature review, significance of the research, etc. In other words, you need to present your proposal in the same format we explained in the recorded lectures.
