Writing a Topic Sentence

تعريفها

The topic sentence tells the reader the subject of the paragraph. In a descriptive paragraph, the topic sentence is general enough

وهي تصف للقارئ عنوان ابلقراف بشكل عام وكافي بما يحويه من المواصفات

Topic: My room. (1)
a. _____ My room is a perfect place for one person to live. ✓
b. _____ Many people live in single rooms.
c. _____ My room is nice.
d. _____

هنا يطلب وصف غرفتي
طبعا الاختيار الاول صحيح لآنه وصف شامل
ووصف غرفته بأنها غرفه مثاليه لشخص للعيش فيها



ثم تحدث عن Using Graphic Organizers p. 29-30 اهميه المخططات الرسوميه في توصيل الفكره


ثم توجد قطعه عن مسقط عاصمة سلطنه عمان (لقد اوردها في الاختبار )

Muscat, the ancient capital of Oman, is on a spectacular site. The city lies on a narrow strip of land between the sparkling blue waters of the Arabian Gulf and the rocky brown moun-tains behind it. Muscat is a wonderful combination of historic sites and modern buildings. Tourists interested in history will marvel at the splendid forts with their watchtowers and walled gateways. Those with an interest in contemporary architecture will appreciate the simple lines of the Sultan's lovely but unpretentious palace. Directly adjacent to Muscat is the harbor of Muttrah with its beautiful corniche and busy market full of the sights and sounds of this ancient bridge between the Middle East and Asia.

ثم تحدث عن قاعده مهمه اورد اسئلة كثيرة منها في الاختبار وهي قاعده(since)
معناها هنا (بما آن)
واسهل عليكم استخدامها في الجمل نفس استخدام Because
اي انها تاتي على طريقتين في الجمله
1/ اذا كانت في بداية الجملة ووضع فاصلة عند انتهاء الجملة الاولى
2/ اذا اتت في وسط الجملة لا تفصلها فاصلة او نقطه تصبح جملة واحده

اكرر الدكتور كررها في الاسئلة
Many people have lived in my neighborhood for years. It is a very friendly place.
يعيش كثير من الناس في الحي الذي انا فيه انه مكان لطيف.

نظيف له (since)
تصبح الجمله

Since many people have lived in my neighborhood for years, it is a very friendly place

كما تشاهدون ظفنا الـ since في البدايه ثم عند انتهاء الجملة الاولى وضعنا فاصلة ثم اكملنا الجمله الثانيه

(هذا التمرين ورد في الامتحان!!!)

My apartment is small. I have to keep it very neat
يصبح الحل
Since my apartment is very small, I have to keep it very clean
هذا التمرين ايضا ورد في الامتحان
. My cousin needed a roommate and is easy to get along with. I decided to move in with hint
يصبح الحل

هذا التمرين سوف يكون بطريقتين

ثم في نهاية المحاضرة كانت هناك بلقراف عن وصف (منزل)
