ماهو القرار المعجمي (Lexical Decision )

A lexical decision experiment is conducted by asking a native speaker to sit in front of a computer screen where he/she is asked to judge as quickly as possible whether the word that appears on the screen is a real word or not.

يجلسونك قدام كمبيوتر وتظهر لك جمله تتختفي في ثواني ويتم سوالك اذا كانت كلمه حقيقه يعني صحيحه او لا

عاد انت وعيونك

طيب ايش الغرض او الفائده من ذالك

عشان يشوفون سرعه الاستجابه وانتبهاهك والدقه في ان قدرت تعرف الكلمه

-1-Response latency: and that is the time it takes for the a participant to respond -yes- or- no

زمن استجابتك وانتباهك للجمله

Response accuracy: and that is whether or not the participant responded accurately

النتائج المهمه او المثيره للاهتمام

استنج ان المشاركين ياخذون نص ثانيه للكلمه المعروفه

وياخذون ثلاثه ارباع الثانيه للكمله الاقل معرفه او شيوعا او استخدما الزبده الكلمه الغريبه

وهذا معروف بـ frequency effect التردد - التكرار

نستنتج من التجربه

What we can infer from this is that our mental lexicons are probably organized in a way that words we use often are more easy to access.

ان المعاجم العقليه تكون مرتبه او منظمه على حسب الكلمات المستخدمه غالبا بطريقه سهله للوصول اليها

Priming- الرئيسي

Priming can be considered as an extension of lexical decision task

الرئيسي يعتبر امداد لمهمه القرار المعجمي

قبل اظهار الكلمه هناك شيء اسمه محفزات (stimulus)

مثال

Prime (e.g. bird) → stimulus (e.g. pigeon) → Yes/no

يعني الكلمه طائر المحفز لها حمامه

When the target is preceded by a related word the response is usually quicker.
عندما يُسبق الهدف بكلمة ذات صلة الاستجابة عادة تكون أسرع..
