* By the 1440s, Italian humanists established the fact that meaning in
language is created by humans and shaped by history

في عام 1440..اسس الانسانيون الايطاليون حقيقة أن المعنى في اللغة
أوجد من قبل البشر وصقله الزمان والتاريخ ..<< التاريخ مهم

*The new conceptions of language led in the sixteenth and early
seventeenth century to the undermining of Latin as the privileged
language of learning.

المفاهيم والتوجيهات الجديدة للغة في القرن 16 والقرن 17 قادت الى زعزعة اللغة اللاتنية
كلغة مميزة وسائدة في التعليم..

*“if its riches and
ornaments are justly appraised, this language will be judged not poor,
not rough, but copious and highly polished.”

هذا قول بوليزيانو

*“What sort of nation are we, to speak perpetually with the mouth of another?”

هذا قول جاكوس بيليتاير

*“Everyone understands,” said Landino in 1481, “how the Latin tongue
became abundant by deriving many words from the Greek.”

قول لاندينو
الجميع يفهم كيف ان اللسان اللاتيني (اللغة اللاتينية)اصبحت وقيرة عن طريق اخذ
الكثير من الكلمات من الاغريق..

* Petrarch was the champion of Latin imitation
بيتراك بطل المحاكاة اللاتنية..

* Pietro Bembo (1512) said that first “we should imitate the one who is
best of all.

قال بيترو بمبو ( لابد ان نقلد الشخص الذي يكون افضل من الجميع)..

* Then he added “we should imitate in such a way that we strive to
overtake him.”

واضاف :(لابد ان نقلد بطريقة نسعى فيها الى التفوق على هذا الشخص)

* Giraldi Cinthio __>> جيرالدي سينثيو كتابه الخاص به (Discorsi)

*After all, the latter were pagans, and Renaissance Europe was fervently
Christian.
