ونشرحها بالتفصيل
1- Inflection: التصريف
وتجي باخر الكلمة اذا كانت اسم تظهر لنا بصيغة الجمع والماضي في حالة الفعل
- * Nouns boy plural (boys), genitive (boy‟s, boys‟)
- * Verbs live, write S.P.T (lives, write), P.T (lived, wrote), ing- participle (living, writing)
- * Adjectives dark comparative (darker), superlative (darkest)
- * Adverbs soon comparative (sooner), superlative (soonest)

2-Derivation:الاشتقاق
هنا اقدر اقول ان ال Derivation يشبه ال Inflection من حيث الاضافه لكن يختلف حيث ان Derivation يغير في المعنى بينما ال Inflection لايغير
- Prefixes: ex + president, un + kind, re + read, a + broad
- Suffix: boy + hood, central + ize, green + ish, exact + ly

3-Compounding:الجمع
هنا نلاحظ اختلاف بين ال Compounding وال Derivation,Inflection الثنتين الاشتقاق والتصريف اضيف لل a stem
واحد او اكثر من ال affixes
بينما ال Compounding اضيف له واحد او اكثر من الstem
Examples are:
- noun + noun: chair + man, girl + friend
- verb + noun: cook + book, guess + work
- adjectives + nouns: blue + bird, flat + fish
- noun + adjective: head + long, water + tight
