discussion1 translation is the repiacement of texual material in one language SL by equivalent text material in another language TL translation is abig science discussion2 all communicators are trtranslators because thet receive signals in speech and in writing containing discussion3 qThe English word theory was derived from a technical term in Ancient Greek philosophy. The word ‘theoria’ x meant "a looking at, viewing, beholding", and referring to ‘ contemplation’ x or ‘ speculation’D i as opposed to action. qTheory is especially often contrasted to "practice" from Greek ‘praxis’ discussion4 qA situational or contextual element involving both SL and TL.
