قواعد المورفولوجي
1-
Compounding
يعني جمع 2 free morphemes مع بعض
مثل undergrowth
كلمتين under و growth

ال Compounding له ثلاث انواع
- Endocentric Compounds
- Exocentric Compounds
- Copulative Compounds

2- Affixation
معروف اخذناه بالمحاضرات قبل

3- Base Modification
وهنا نغير الصوت في جزء من الكلمة لتغيير معنى الكلمة او تصنيفها
change the phonology of the base segmentally and suprasegmentally

segmentally
مثل wife – wives
مفرد استخدمنا f بالجمع تغير لل v

suprasegmentally
هنا فقط يكون فيه stress في جزء من الكلمة
مثل
Contact (noun
Con'tact (verb

4- No Change of Form
بدون تغيير
Some words that have inflectional or derivational relationships, keep the same form

له نوعين
A- Zero Inflection
Fish (sing.) fish (plural

B- Zero Derivation (Conversion
Fish (noun) to fish (verb)
Clean (Adj. ) to clean (verb

5- Base Shortening
الاختصار
له نوعين
Backformation

Clipping
مثل Polio from Poliomyelitis

6- Alphabet Based Formations
له نوعين
Blending
ناخذ الجزء الاول من الكلمة الاولى والجزء الاخير من الكلمة الثانية
مثال
Stagflation = stagnation + inflation
Slanguage = slang + language

Acronyms الاختصار
مثال
