A Doll's House is the story of Nora and her husband Helmer. They have been married for about nine years
and have three children. Eight years ago Nora had borrowed some money from a man called Krogstad'
against a promissory note on which she had forged signature of her father who. was supposed to be a surety
for the repayment of the loan. Nora had found it absolutely necessary to obtain this loan.
بيت الدمية هي قصة نورا وزوجها هيلمر. وقد تزوجا منذ تسعة سنوات ولديهم ثلاثة أطفال. قبل ثماني سنوات نورا
قد اقترضت بعض المال من رجل يسمى كروجستاد مقابل كمبيالة حيث زورت توقيع أبيها الذي كان من المفترض
أن يكون ضامنا لسداد القرض
(ابوها كان مريض واستحت تطلب توقيعه ثم توفي ابوها فوقعت عنه)
وجدت نورا انه من الضروري تماما الحصول على هذا القرض.
لاحضوا كلمة forged معناها زور forgery تزوير و راح تتكرر كثير
Her husband had fallen critically ill and the doctors bad advised her to take him away to a warm climate.
Having no money and desperately anxious to save her husband's life by taking him to Italy she had raised
this loan.Her husband had fully recovered. Since then Nora has regularly been paying monthly installments
to Krogstadagainst the principal amount and the interest accruing thereon.
كان زوجها مريض بحاله خطيرة والدكاترة نصحوها أن تبعده إلى منطقة ذات جو دافئ. ونظرا لعدم امتلاكها المال وكونها متلهفة
بإلحاح أن تنقذ حياة زوجها بأخذه لإيطاليا, قامت بتوفير هذا القرض. تعافى زوجها من المرض تماما. ومنذ ذلك الوقت نورا
بانتظام تدفع الأقساط شهريا لكروجستاد ضد المبلغ الرئيسي والفائدة المستحقة عليها.
However, she has never told her husband about the loan, about the purpose for which the loan was taken,
about the terms of the loan, and about the monthly payments she has been making. Nor has she ever had any notion
that in forging her father's signature she had committed a serious criminal act. Now after eight years, Krogstad needs
Nora's help to save his job in a bank of which Nora's husband has been appointed the manager. As Nora finds it
impossible to help Krogstad, he reveals Nora's secret transaction with him and the fact of the forgery to her husband
through a letter.
ومع ذلك، لم تخبر نورا زوجها عن القرض أبدا، ولا عن الغرض الذي من اجله أخذت القرض، ولا عن شروط القرض، ولا عن الدفعات
الشهرية التي كانت تدفعها. كذلك نورا لم تفكر مطلقا أن تزويرها لتوقيع أبيها تكون قد ارتكبت عملا إجراميا خطيرا.
الآن بعد ثمانية سنوات، يحتاج كروجستاد (اللي اعطاها القرض) لمساعدة نورا كي تحافظ على عمله في البنك حيث
تم تعيين زوج نورا كمدير للبنك (وزوجها يبي يطرد كروجستاد من البنك). بينما تجد نورا انه من المستحيل مساعدة
كروجستاد في ذلك، يقوم كروجستاد بالكشف عن صفقتها السرية معه وحقيقة التزوير إلى زوجها من خلال رسالة بريدية letter.
Helmer becomes furious with his wife for having been guilty of the crime of forgery. Nora is shocked by her
husband's attitude. She had thought that he was capable of making any conceivable sacrifice for her sake,
but she finds that he is a self-centered man . She also finds that he is incapable of living 'up to the moral
principles which he has always been professing loudly and emphatically.
يصبح هيلمر (زوج نورا) غاضبا جدا من زوجته لأنها كانت مذنبه في جريمة التزوير. تنصدم نورا بموقف زوجها. كانت تعتقد
أنه كان قادرا على عمل أي تضحية لأجلها، (خصوصا انها ماخذه القرض علشان علاجه هو ووجهه 
)
لكنها تجد أنه رجل أناني. هي أيضا تجد أنه غير قادر على العيش بالمبادئ الأخلاقية الذي كان دائما يؤكد عليها.
Her love for him drops dead
حبها له يموت فجأة 
and she leaves him and also her children
وتتركه وتترك أطفالها أيضا. (لابوه لابو من جابه )
