what is WADA TEST ?


it is kind of test used to determine the location of hemisphere


the test is

they injected sodium amytol to one of the two hemisphere of a patients brain
then they asked him to count or name pictures presented on an over head

Evidence suggests
that the left hemisphere is larger than the right before birth


2-infants are better able to distinguish speech from non-speech when the
stimuli are presented to the left hemisphere



3-Early language, however, appears not to be lateralized until the age of
about 2.



4-If the left hemisphere is damaged in infancy, the right hemisphere
can take over its function.
