# If you do your research out of your ideas out of your own words from your knowledge then you are the Author of the research . # refers to the production and ownership of ideas and intellectual material, such as books, articles, images, etc. التأليف: # إذا عملت البحث بأفكارك و كلماتك الخاصة ومعرفتك فأنت تعتبر كاتب البحث هو إنتاج و تملك الأفكار والمواد الفكرية مثل الكتب والمقالات والصور وغيرها# Plagiarism : # If you go and copy others words or ideas then put it in your research without mention his or her name .. this is call Plagiarism. # Plagiarism is something very critical & ethical in research. # improper or incomplete acknowledgement of a source of information is treated as 'intellectual theft'. The proper name for this is 'plagiarism'. السرقة الادبية: #إذا نسخت كلمات الآخرين أو أفكارهم ثم وضعتها في بحثك دون ذكر الاسم هذا يسمى سرقة أدبية # تعتبر شيء خطير للغاية و متعلق بالأخلاقية في مجال البحث # الاقرار الغير لائق أو غير كامل لمصدر المعلومات تعتبر "سرقة فكرية". والاسم المعروف لذلك هو "السرقة الادبية" #Using or copying the work of others (whether written, printed or in any other form) without properacknowledgement' In brief, if you use the work of others, you must either quote it or paraphrase it, but whichever method you choose, you must include a citation and reference. # acknowledging that an idea or phrase is not your own is insufficient. Failing to specify the exact source will be considered plagiarism. #استخدام أو نسخ عمل الآخرين (سواء المكتوبة أو المطبوعة أو أي شكل آخر) دون إقرار سليم "باختصار، إذا كنت تستخدم عمل الآخرين، يجب عليك إما الاقتباس أو إعادة الصياغة ، ولكن أي طريقة تختارها، يجب أن تتضمن الاقتباس والمراجع . # الاقرار بأن فكرة أو عبارة ليس من عندك غير كاف. الفشل في تحديد المصدر الحقيقي يعتبر سرقة ادبية Quotation : you take the words Exactly from the source and then put them into Quotations mark. paraphrase : You have the meaning of the idea and then you retell the idea in your own words. But still you need to refer to the original author . الاقتباس : تأخذ الكلمات بالضبط من مصدرها وتضعها داخل علامة الاقتباسات إعادة الصياغة: لديك مضمون فكرة و تنقلها بكلماتك و اسلوبك الخاص. لكن لابد من الاشارة إلى مؤلفها الاصلي citation : #How do you place the name of the original author inside your text . Or from the website ; #The process of acknowledging or attributing an idea/quotation to another by providing information about the source of the other work. Acknowledgement : Recognition that work has been the product of the work of another identified person. التنويه:# كيفية وضع اسم المؤلف الأصلي داخل النص أو من الموقع #عملية الاقرار بــ فكرة أو اقتباس بواسطة توفير المعلومات حول مصدر العمل الاقرار: الاعتراف بأن العمل الموجود من جهد شخص آخر common knowledge The issue of ownership is complicated by the fact that some knowledge Reference list : A list of referenced sources of work that have been cited in the present work. Sometimes called a 'bibliography', although a bibliography can just be a list of relevant books, not specifically a 'reference list'. المعرفة الشائعة هي مسألة الملكية العامة المرتبطة بمعرفة بعض الحقائق قائمة المراجع : قائمة تشير إلى مصدر العمل التي تم ذكره . تسمى أحيانا "الفهرس"، على الرغم من أن الفهرس مجرد قائمة من الكتب ذات الصلة وليس قائمة مرجعية - Copy sections of someone else's work but change the odd word or phrase You cannot escape this by simply changing some of the words and phrases. If you have been rewarded for a piece of work once then you cannot expect to be rewarded again for the same piece تقديم نفس العمل لمهام مختلفة حتى لو كانت الاقسام مختلفة لا يمكنك تقديم نفس العمل لمهام مختلفة. إذا تمت مكافأتك على هذا العمل لا تتوقع أن تكافأ مرة أخرى لنفس العمل - Submit written work produced collaboratively, unless this is specifically allowed This is known as 'collusion' تقديم عمل بجهد تعاوني ما لم يسمح بذلك وهو معروف بإسم المؤامرة - Copy the work of another student, even if they have consented This is also collusion. the only way to go around Plagiarism is to be credible and tell us how Exactly you did your research without hidden help from other people . نسخ عمل طالب آخر حتى لو كان موافق على ذلك وايضا يعرف بالمؤامرة الطريقة الوحيدة للابتعاد عن السرقة الادبية هو أن تكون ذا مصداقية و تصرح أنك كنت تعمل بحثك بدون أي مساعدة من شخص آخر Common mistakes : Some students make the mistake of thinking that plagiarism does not apply to every type of source material or to every type of assignment الأخطاء الشائعة بعض الطلاب يخطأ بالاعتقاد أن السرقة الادبية لا تنطبق على كل نوع من المصادر أو نقل الملكية Benefits of referencing : Avoiding plagiarism is not the only reason for referencing. There are many others. فوائد إضافة المراجع إضافة المراجع ليس فقط لتجنب السرقة الادبية بل لعدة أشياء منها :- -Receiving credit for your own hard work and research -Demonstrating your intellectual integrity by conforming to agreed academic standards of good practice -كسب الثقة أن هذا العمل الشاق بإجتهادك إظهار نزاهتك الفكرية عن طريق مطابقتك للمعايير الأكاديمية للممارسات الجيدة- -Receiving meaningful feedback from your tutor that is targeted to the level you are really at -Contextualising your work to show how it relates to current research and debates -Directing your reader to sources of information and enabling them to 'pick up the thread' -تلقي تعليقات مفيدة من معلمك التي تستهدف مستواك الفعلي تحديد السياق الصحيح لعملك يظهر مدى ارتباطه بالبحوث والمناقشات الحالية- توجيه القارئ إلى مصادر المعلومات وتمكينهم من استيعاب الموضوع - Cheat-sites There are a number of websites that sell essays. Some of the essays have been written by students, others claim that the essays have been written by experts. مواقع الاحتيال هناك العديد من المواقع تبيع مقالات. بعض هذه المقالات كتبها طلاب، و يدعي البعض أن المقالات قد كتبت من قبل مختصين . These websites are relatively easy to find, and vary enormously in both style and cost. You are strongly advised not to purchase or copy essays from these websites, as you will risk failing your assignment, receiving a mark of zero for the module, or even being required to withdraw. هذه المواقع من السهل العثور عليها، وتختلف كل منها في الاسلوب والتكلفة . ينصح بعدم شراء أو نسخ مقالات من هذه المواقع، لأنه قد ترسب في مهمتك ، وتأخذ علامة صفر ، أو حتى أن يطلب منك الانسحاب |
